Redeem points for Gas Savings
Every 2,000 points saves you 10 cents off up to 20 gallons, that's $2 in savings! Please know that you must be signed up for a Pay with GasBuddy+ card in order to redeem points for gas savings. To redeem points for Gas Savings;
- Ensure you're logged in with your correct account and have the most up-to-date version of the app downloaded
- Go to the Rewards tab of the GasBuddy app
- At the top of the screen, tap Redeem.
- Then tap 'Select Gas Savings'
- You will need to agree to the Terms of Service, then click the Redeem points button!
Note- you will need to earn 2000 points to redeem
Redeem points for a Gift Card
- Ensure you're logged in with your correct account and have the most up-to-date version of the app downloaded
- Go to the Rewards tab of the GasBuddy app
- At the top of the screen, tap Redeem.
- Then tap 'Select Gift Card'. Here you will see the available gift card options to redeem your points for. Tapping into each gift card option will show you the amount of points needed and the amount you can redeem your points for.
- Follow the prompts on your chosen gift card. A confirmation email will be sent out prior to completing the redemption. Be sure to find that email and follow the instructions in the email to complete your purchase.
Points can only be redeemed once per day, after the first redemption you will have to wait 24 hours before redeeming again.
A maximum of 500,000 Points can be redeemed in a calendar year. Redemption limit resets January 1 of each calendar year. For example, if you have banked 500,000 Points in the current calendar year and you redeem 300,000 Points (in the current calendar year), then on the first day of the following calendar year (assuming none of your Points have expired), you will roll-over 200,000 Points and your maximum redemption amount will reset to 500,000 Points.
