Play Games
GasBuddy Games offers users a fun way to earn points that can be redeemed for rewards.
How to Earn

Log In & Enable Tracking:
- To earn and redeem points, you must be logged into your GasBuddy account. If you haven’t created one, be sure to sign up first.
- Enable tracking on your device (A pop-up will appear when you try to access a new game if tracking isn't enabled, reminding you to turn it on). This is necessary to be able to track progress on the games played, and ensure that we're able to reward you with the points you've earned!

Access the GasBuddy Games:
- Open the GasBuddy app and go to the Rewards tab.
- In the Rewards section, you’ll find the GasBuddy Games, where you can start earning points.

Play Games & Complete Achievements:
- Earn points by playing games and completing achievements within each game.
- The points awarded can vary based on the game and your progress.
- If you've previously downloaded the game it may not qualify for points

Point Processing:
It may take up to 72 hours for your earned points to appear in your account after completeing each step.
Snap Receipts
Snap receipts from any retail purchase made at any convenience store, grocery store, or retailer located in the United States to earn 25 points/receipt! Look for deals in the App to earn even more points!
How to Earn

Open the GasBuddy App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app downloaded, and that you're logged in with your account

Snap Receipt
- On the Home Screen of the app, tap the 'SNAP RECEIPT' button in the top right corner

Center your receipt
- Make sure the Date, Total amount, and Merchant is visible on the receipt

Point Processing:
It may take up to 48 hours for your earned points to appear in your account after completeing each step.
Please note that receipts must be uploaded within 7 days of the purchase date. You can upload a maximum of 50 receipts in any 7-day period. This 7-day period operates on a rolling basis, meaning that receipts uploaded 8 days ago will no longer contribute to your total of 50 receipts. For example, if you snaps 20 Eligible Receipts at 4:00PM ET on Tuesday (the "First Receipt Snap Date"), then 10 at 5:00PM ET Wednesday (the "Second Receipt Snap Date"), and 20 at 3:00PM ET Thursday (the "Third Receipt Snap Date"), you won't earn Points for more Receipt Snaps until 4:00PM ET the Tuesday after the First Receipt Snap Date, when you can snap up to 20 Eligible Receipts. Points can also be earned on an additional 10 Receipt Snaps at 5:00PM ET Wednesday after the Second Receipt Snap Date and 20 Receipt Snaps at 3:00PM ET Thursday after the Third Receipt Snap Date.
Uploaded receipts must be your personal receipts, you may not submit a receipt for a purchase made by another person. For more information please review our Terms of Service
GasBuddy Activities
Within the GasBuddy Activities feed, you will be able to earn points for Marketplace Deals, Financial Deals, or completing Surveys!
How to Earn

Enable Tracking
To ensure we can issue points for your deal we will need you to enable tracking. You will need to:
- Open SettingsTap Privacy & SecurityTap Tracking
- Turn on Allow Apps to Request to Track
- Make sure tracking is enabled for GasBuddy

Turn off iCloud Private Relay, if enabled

Open the GasBuddy App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app downloaded, and that you're logged in with your GasBuddy account.

Access the Activity Feed:
- Open the GasBuddy app and go to the Rewards tab.
- In the Rewards section, you’ll find the Activities button, where you view multiple ways to earn.

Complete Activities to earn points:
Financial Deals may include insurance, investing, or tax-related services.
Marketplace Deals may include retail, apps, subscriptions, or streaming services.
Surveys are research opportunities that may enable you to earn points by answering questions from brands.

Point Processing:
- Once you’ve completed an activity, a pending reward will appear on the GasBuddy Activities feed, this can sometimes take up to 90 days.
- A pending reward will typically be pending for up to 15 days before it is claimable.
- GasBuddies will then have 7 days to claim their points by tapping the Claim button.

If points are not claimed within the 7 day window, they will unfortunately expire, so make sure to keep an eye on the GasBuddy Activities feed.
Daily Streaks and Bonus Points
Our newest way to earn bonus points! Head to the Activities section of the Rewards tab daily to earn a daily streak, once you've earned a 3-day streak you will be presented with a bonus points wheel! Each day you keep your streak you'll earn bonus points by spinning the wheel.
Additionally, you may be presented with Achievements that will allow you to earn bonus points, these achievements will only be available once*, so make sure to check them daily!
Tracking Your Points Balance
- Your points balance can be viewed in two places:
- On the home screen under the Find Gas section.
- In the Rewards tab under both Earn and Redeem sections.
View Points History
- To see how you’ve earned or burned points, go to the Rewards tab and tap View Transactions in the top right corner. Tap 'Rewards', where you will see a list of your point transactions.
Points Limitations
- You can bank up to 500,000 points at any given time.
- Point expiration: Points will expire after 90 days of inactivity (no points earned in a 90-day period).
- 500,000 points is the maximum you can redeem in any calendar year. (resets January 1st)
Important Notes
- Availability: The GasBuddy Arcade is currently available only to U.S. users.

Tracking Requirement: Remember, tracking must be enabled on your device to earn points, especially for iOS users.
* Achievements may expire at any time, without prior notice. If you a user has begun an achievement and not completed it prior to expiration you will no longer be eligible to earn the bonus points.
