Why ACH Transactions?
We use ACH transactions to link your checking account because it keeps processing costs low, allowing us to pass on greater savings to you!

Linking Your Account
You can link your account in two ways:
- Manually: Enter your account and routing numbers (found at the bottom of a check).
- Instantly: Log in securely through your online banking.
Both options are available during enrollment and when adding a new bank account. This process ensures we can properly debit and credit your account. Once you see a small amount debited, your bank is verified.
If You Provided Routing and Account Numbers
- Confirm Deposits: Look for two small deposits (under 10¢ each) in your account. This may take a day or two.
- Verify in the App or Online: Confirm these amounts in the app or at enroll.gasbuddy.com, then wait up to 4 business days for them to be withdrawn.
- Card Shipment: Your card will be shipped once these amounts are confirmed.
If you don’t see the deposits:
- Check Compatibility: Ensure you’re using a compatible checking account (see below).
- Verify Numbers: Contact your bank to confirm your account and routing numbers. If incorrect, update your info with customer support here.
- Authorize Transfers: Ask your bank if they blocked the deposits and have them authorize the transfer.
If You Linked Using Online Credentials
Hang Tight: A small amount will be deposited and then withdrawn within 1-4 business days.
Compatible Checking Accounts
- Must be a checking account: Savings accounts can’t be used.
- No Direct Banks: Accounts from direct banks (e.g., American Express Centurion, PayPal, GoBank, Green Dot Bank, Chime, Bancorp Bank) can’t be linked.
