How to Link Your Bank Account
You can link your account in one of two ways:
1. Manual Entry

Enter your account and routing numbers (found at the bottom of a check).

Wait 1–2 business days for two small test deposits (each under 10¢) to appear.

Confirm these amounts by going to the Member Tab of the app, or enroll.gasbuddy.com

After verification, these amounts will be withdrawn, and your card will be shipped.
If you don’t see the “Member” tab, you may be using an older version of the app. Follow these steps instead:
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Select Savings Settings.
- Tap Your Pay with GasBuddy+™ Account.
2. Instant Verification

Log in securely with your online banking credentials.

A small deposit will be made and withdrawn from your account within 1–4 business days to confirm your account.
Troubleshooting Deposit Verification
If you don’t see the test deposits:

Check account type: Must be a checking account (savings accounts aren’t supported).

Double-check numbers: Confirm routing and account numbers with your bank.

Ask about blocks: Your bank may have blocked the deposits. Contact them to authorize the transfer.

Savings accounts and Online-only or direct banks, including but not limited to:
- American Express Centurion Bank
- PayPal
- GoBank
- Green Dot Bank
- Chime
- Bancorp Bank
