When a transaction is returned to GasBuddy unpaid by your financial institution, a return fee of $5.00 is added into the transaction before it is rebilled to your bank account. This fee is separate from any fees that your bank may impose for such returns.
When you conduct a transaction through our Service, you are responsible for ensuring that the funds are available at the time of the transaction and at such time as the transaction is processed and posted to your account.
Your bank, at their own discretion, may charge an NSF fee (also known as a chargeback or overdraft fee) in the event you do not have enough funds in your account to pay for a transaction made with the Pay with GasBuddy card. These fees can range between $25-$50 and are collected by your bank. While your statement may show `GASBUDDY` in the line description of an NSF (or chargeback) fee, this is simply to inform you of what transaction caused the fee your bank is collecting from you, this fee is not imposed by or the responsibility of GasBuddy.
