About card expiration
Your Pay With GasBuddy card does expire, just as many other payment cards do. This is to ensure cards are outfitted with the most up to date technology and abilities. You can find your expiration date on the front of your Pay With GasBuddy card.
What to do when your card is about to expire
We will let you know that your card is about to expire in both the Savings portion of your GasBuddy® app, and online at gasbuddy.com/pay. We will ask you to review your address, updating if necessary, and your new card will be shipped out.
The app doesn't show my card about to expire
It is possible you may not be logged into your app with the correct account.
Please make sure you are signed in to the account that shares the same email address you signed up to the Pay program with.
To check which account you are signed in with,
- Go into the GasBuddy app and click the profile button in the top left side of the home screen
- Click edit profile
- Scroll down to view the email currently signed in with
If you are logged in with a different email address, click the X to go back, click on Settings at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the bottom, and click Log Out, then Sign in with the correct email address.

About activating your card replacement
You can start using your new card as soon as it arrives, with the same Driver ID you used previously. If you would like to update your Driver ID, please:
- Ensure you're on the latest version of the GasBuddy app
- Open the app and tap the settings button (top-left)
- Tap 'Savings Settings'
- Select "Reset Driver ID"
- Follow the prompts to reset your Driver ID
