Viewing what account is linked
You can find which bank your account is linked to in the Profile section of the GasBuddy® app.
Simply tap the Profile button in the top-left corner of the For You section of the app, then select Manage Your Pay with GasBuddy Account. Your bank information will be listed under the Linked Account section.
Updating your linked bank account
If you are a mobile user, you can update your checking account information quickly through the app. Just follow the instructions below.
- Ensure you're on the latest version of the GasBuddy app
- Open the app and tap the settings button (top-left)
- Tap 'Manage your Pay with GasBuddy Account'
- Under Linked Account, select Change Bank
- Search for your Bank. If the bank does not come up, you can manually enter your account and routing numbers.
For older versions of the GasBuddy app:
- Tap into Savings, and press the settings button (top-right)
- Under Linked Account, select Change Bank
- Search for your Bank. If the bank does not come up, you can manually enter your account and routing numbers.

It can take up to 5 business days (Mon - Fri excluding holidays) for your newly linked bank to be verified. Any pending or new transactions may be processed through your current bank account until the new one is fully verified.

What to do if your bank issues a new card
Nothing! You will only need to update your account information if the account or routing number has changed.
