I paid my outstanding balance, why isn’t my card active?
Processing a payment will take 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).
If you did not pay your outstanding balance by credit card, and five business days have passed, you may have incurred another NSF. Check the app to see if your transaction is still pending or you have incurred another NSF.
If your transaction is complete and it has been five business days, fill out a ticket here.
Please note in the ticket that you have paid an outstanding balance and you need to have your card reactivated.
How is the credit card fee calculated?
When you pay an outstanding balance by credit card we charge a fee of $0.30 + 2.9% of the outstanding balance. For example, if you pay a balance of $50 with a credit card we will charge a fee of $.30 plus $1.45 for a total fee of $1.75.
Why am I getting charged a fee?
GasBuddy charges a $5.00 return fee per every failed transaction. Make sure that you have funds in your checking account before you purchase fuel to avoid these fees.
NSF /Non-Sufficient Funds

When you conduct a transaction through our Service, you are responsible for ensuring that the funds are available at the time the transaction is conducted, and properly processed (posts) to your account.
Please note that your financial institution may charge you a non-sufficient funds fee if you attempt to spend more than you have available in your checking account. Please contact your financial institution directly for any charges or fees they may have.
