Once you have added your bank by account and routing number, 2 small deposits will be sent to your account. After 2-3 business days, check your account for these deposits. If you do not see the deposits in your bank statement, please do the following:
- Check you are using a compatible checking account. Unfortunately, there are some banks that are incompatible with Pay with GasBuddy™ including most prepaid bank accounts, direct bank accounts, or branchless bank accounts. This can include, but is not limited to, American Express Centurion, GoBank, Green Dot, Bancorp accounts, Chime, etc.
- Contact your bank to ensure you have the correct account and routing numbers. If you think you have entered the wrong account or routing number, contact support here to update your account. In the dropdown "Account Information", select Update Bank Information.
- Ask your bank if they may have blocked the deposits from showing in your account. If so, have them authorize the transfer.
If you still do not have deposits in your account, you will need to link a different bank to your Pay with GasBuddy™ account. Please contact support here to update a checking account.
